Gracie Abrams could actually be invested in Paul Mescal.
After all, the “Risk” singer and the Normal People actor were out and about in London’s Mayfair neighborhood on Aug. 18, holding hands as they crossed a street, before later taking in the show at All Points East festival in Victoria Park.
For the first of the double-outing occasion, Gracie, 24, wore a simple white tank top with black slacks and flats. She topped off the look with a silver handbag and sunglasses and wore her hair in a slouchy updo. Meanwhile, Paul, 28, wore a Guns N’ Roses T-shirt with black athletic shorts, black Adidas Sambas, and a green baseball hat.
And during the All Points East festival, Paul and Gracie—daughter of J.J. Abrams and Katie McGrath—were especially cozy in the crowd of Mitski’s headlining set. In a photo shared to X, formerly Twitter, the Gladiator actor stood behind the “Close to You” singer as she pulled her hair into a low ponytail. The duo donned inconspicuous white T-shirts and squeezed close together amid the crowd.
E! News has reached out to reps for Paul and Gracie but has not yet heard back.
Of course, their recent London outings are only the latest instance of the duo’s growing bond. After all, the pair shared a meal together earlier this summer at London’s BRAT Restaurant, where they engaged in deep conversation, according to photographs obtained by TMZ June 30. At one point, the Irish actor was even pictured reaching across the table to place a hand on the “Us” singer’s shoulder.
Paul was last romantically linked to indie singer Phoebe Bridgers, before splitting in 2022 after two years together. The Boygenius singer has since gone on to date Bo Burnham.
And while Paul has also ignited romance rumors with his Normal People costar Daisy Edgar-Jones in the years since their show’s 2020 debut, she’s shared insight into their platonic bond.
“Paul is one of my lifetime best friends,” the Twisters star told Variety in July. “He’s an incredibly grounded person and I am too, I think, so it’s nice to be able to have those touchstones and those people you can laugh about it with and be lighthearted with. We met when I was 20 and Paul was 22; I’m so excited to see where we’ll be at 32, 42, and what life will bring us.”
